[Industry Mentorship Program] Student Industry Engagement Program – Explore the Key Differentiators of the College of Business and Management, VinUniversity

At the College of Business and Management, we strongly believe that the education has to be practice-oriented. Therefore, the Student Industry Engagement Program has been designed to give students the most comprehensive experience of the real professional work environment. They will be mentored and coached by industry leaders in various fields. By immersing themselves in the industry, they will be able to identify their aspirations, strengths, as well as current market trends and opportunities.
The Student Industry Engagement Program is comprised of:
- INDUSTRY SPEAKER SERIES: This series aim to bring industry leading experts to VinUniversity to share their stories, discuss industry trends and inspire students.
- INDUSTRY MENTORSHIP PROGRAM: In every semester, students will be coached by a mentor, whom is an industry expert to share his/her experience and insightful knowledge of the respective industry.
- COMPANY VISIT: Students will visit a specific company and gain the comprehensive overview, explore the culture of that company as well as its operations.
- 5 IN 5 INTERNSHIP: Students will spend every Friday (the no-class day) in 5 consecutive weeks rotating through a wide variety of functional roles at the company they have registered. This will help the students gain a better understanding of the company’s culture and operations so later on, they can decide which company they would want to apply for summer internship.
- SUMMER INTERNSHIP: Upon completing the 5 in 5 Internship, students will apply to the company of their choice for the summer internship.
