College of Business and Management – Fly to the Future

November 17, 2020

Being one of the three pillars of VinUni, the College of Business and Management in collaboration with Cornell University and Pensylvannia is proud to bring its students a breakthrough in business education towards students of 2 majors: Business Administration and Hospitality Management. Under the guidance of leading experts, outstanding curriculum, exchange programs, and learning opportunities in an environment with QS 5-star rated facilities, upon graduation, students are expected to have the full personalities of a global leader with both competent and good awareness.

To kick start this amazing and challenging journey, the College of Business and Management  (CBM) also organized a warm meeting with all faculty staff, the first cohort of students, and their parents. Throughout the program, students and parents had a chance to listen to emotional speeches from the Dean Sunmee Choi and Vice-Dean Tran Phuong Lan. These are lessons and inspirational stories for ‘passengers’ on the first CBM flight. We could not only feel the dedication, enthusiasm and expertise of leaders, lecturers, but also the belief and hope of a future Vietnam, which will be expectedly built by those who have passion and aspiration with excellent knowledge and skills.

With the theme FLY TO THE FUTURE, the CBM ‘’crew’’–lecturers and teaching assistants—made an impressive introduction to all parents and students. The first ‘passengers’ were also greeted with airline tickets and a special VinUni passport, a signal of readiness on the runway to fly high. CBM students’ creativity was also shown clearly through the group presentation of the logo design contest to represent the spirit of the College of Business and Management.  The big applause by the audiences in the room was a clear testament to the surprise at each team’s uniqueness in elaborating the design and meaning of each logo. This seems to be an implicit affirmation of students’ talents and prospects in the future.
